As the Official Hosts for Cambridge School and Oxford Union Debates for International Rounds, The Indian Debating League (IDL) nurtures India's best minds on regional, national, and international matters. With 71,800 students having debated at International & India Circuits and 2023-24 wins at Princeton Harvard, Yale, Oxford Union, LSE and many more.
About Oxford Schools
Aimed at students, it attracts over 350 schools annually, offering participants an excellent opportunity to develop public speaking, argumentation, and analytical skills. The competition includes regional rounds across the UK, Ireland, and international locations, culminating in Finals Day at the historic Oxford Union. Registration for the 2025 UK and Ireland regional rounds is closing soon, with the online international round currently open for registration.

About the British Parliamentary Format
British Parliamentary (BP) is a popular debating format featuring four teams of two, ranked from first to fourth. Debates are impromptu, with 15 minutes of preparation after the motion is announced. Covering themes like politics, economics, sports, and social justice, BP challenges debaters to think critically and argue persuasively across diverse topics.
